Tucked away on the NSW South Coast, this dreamy tiny home stay with Escape Pods was everything I hoped it would be — minimal, off-grid, eco-friendly and super pet-friendly.

This stay was honestly one of the most peaceful little getaways we’ve had in ages. We booked a few nights in the tiny home through Air B&B from Escape Pods and it was exactly what I needed. Just us, no plans, limited phone signal, and all the time in the world to chill.

The tiny home itself was stunning — wood interiors, massive windows, everything thoughtfully designed and off-grid (but still had a hot inside shower). It felt like waking up inside a Pinterest board.

Alma loved it. She spent her days curled up in the sun, exploring the bush, or sleeping by the fire while I drank wine, read my book and did a whole lot of nothing.

-Pet friendly (of course!)
-Super private and quiet
-Big windows with views into the bush
-sound of the river and birds as you sleep
-Eco design that didn’t feel like I was roughing it
-Fire pit, inside fire, soft lighting, and everything you need but nothing you don’t
-Outside bath with hot water! 

We brought books, snacks, and Alma’s travel bed. Honestly we didn’t do much else at the tiny home. No activities, no pressure to do anything but just be. That was kind of the magic of it.
