When we first hit the road, Alma was just a tiny puppy — around 10 weeks old — and our very first trip was to Jervis Bay. I had no idea at the time just how much life would open up with that one little adventure. What started as a few weekend escapes quickly turned into an epic mission: to find as many dog-friendly places around Australia as I could.
Before long, we had thousands of followers and hundreds of messages asking where all these amazing places were. That’s why I created Adventure with Alma — a space to share the places we’ve discovered together. Not just the picture-perfect beaches or scenic hikes, but the quiet campsites, hidden dog-friendly gems, and the little moments that make travelling with a pup so special.
My goal is to show dog owners that it’s not as hard as it seems to bring your dog along for the ride. In fact, some of the best spots we’ve found have been far away from the crowds — sometimes even better than the national parks. Whether you’re planning a full lap around Australia or just dreaming up a weekend escape, I hope our journey inspires you to explore more, worry less, and bring your dog along for the ride.
